a fashionable find.
I learned about this website recently over coffee with a friend. From the second she said designer dresses at a fraction of the price, I wanted to learn more.
Rent The Runway is a website filled with 95 fashionable designers featuring their current season dress designs. These dresses are yours to rent at 90% off the retail price.
How it works:
Also, no need to worry about receiving a dirty and worn looking dress- They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee you will have a clean, fresh looking dress arriving to your door step. The second a dress starts to look worn, they retire it from their collection.
Post event: Just send the dress back for FREE in your prepaid envelope. They even take care of the dry cleaning for you!
Still a little unsure? This website was created out of fun to let women try new designers without having to invest in designer prices. You pay a $5 insurance fee with the rental of the dress. This is to cover any wine spills, stuck zippers or lost embellishments.
Happy Perusing!

one of those days...
I wish I could have gone to work in sweatpants. I knew it was only a matter of time before our sunny, 65 degree October days would be over and we would be slapped with the reality of our MN winter.
Days like today make me want to curl up on the couch with a blanket, watching cooking shows while sipping hot chocolate. Because that isn't realistic I had to settle for the next best thing while getting ready: Giovanni's hot chocolate sugar scrub.
It heats up once lathered upon your skin, and the smell alone will make you fall in love.
